University of Cambridge Hiring for Department Teaching Administrator Job at Cambridge, East of England, England Full Time

POLIS is looking for an experienced graduate administrator to take up the post of Department Teaching Administrator. This is a key post in the Department, responsible for overseeing all the administration and processes across the graduate programmes in the Department, including ensuring the Degree Committee receives all relevant information in a timely manner.

The post holder has seven direct reports overseeing all course related duties.. The post holder is responsible for admissions to a large graduate programme as well as ensuring that all the Departmental ranking and submissions to funding competitions are managed appropriately.

The role also offers the opportunity to become involved in strategic work and a wide range of projects. As administrative lead for the website there is scope for creativity in the Department’s communications; as the coordinator for graduate outreach activities you will work with academics from across the Department.

The successful candidate will have previous experience of running graduate programmes, committee work and ideally a very good awareness of University policies and procedures.
