University of Bristol Hiring for Library Support Assistant Job at Bristol, England Full Time

The role

This role offers the exciting opportunity to join the Library Customer Services team to support the use of study space, services, and resources across the week. Library Services manage eight libraries and four study centres, and you will visit these as required to perform checks and monitor usage. A key element will be to ensure completion of the tasks required for a smooth handover to other team members at the end of your shift.

What will you be doing?

With a focus on excellent customer service your responsibilities will include reshelving and processing of returned books; providing roving support from help points and across the public spaces and working on service desks.

You should apply if

You will have excellent communication and customer focus skills and experience of working in a fast-paced, front facing service environment. You will have experience of triaging basic enquiries and clearly recording issues that need to be passed on to other teams.
