The Student Communications and Engagement Officer plays a very important role in enabling the delivery of Putting Students at the Heart – Brighton 2025 strategy.
Utilising insight gained from student feedback, you will be a champion for student voice, and you’ll use your experience of creating engaging content across different media and channels to engage our student community.
You will work as a trusted advisor to colleagues using your expertise to help them clearly communicate and engage with our students, highlighting student involvement and feedback, wherever possible, to foster stronger connections and engagement with our University strategy.
The main areas of responsibility for the role include:

• End-to-end ownership of student-facing communication campaigns that support improvements to student experience.
• Working to improve our overall use of communication channels for campaigns and day-to-day comms.
• Working to improve messaging, engagement opportunities and content types, with a focus on utilising video content.
• Managing multiple projects, working with a variety of teams; influencing and advising partners and key stakeholders to deliver the most relevant messages for students.

This is a full-time, permanent role and is open to applications from those wishing to job-share.
