University of Bedfordshire Hiring for Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Accounting & Finance Job at Luton, East of England, England Full Time

Within the Department of Law and Finance, as a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Finance you will be joining the team responsible for our undergraduate and postgraduate accounting and finance courses. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering research informed teaching and learning, curriculum development, innovation and review, and for providing an excellent student experience. The University’s close proximity to London Luton Airport and the City of London means that we are well placed to work in close collaboration with business and provide rich opportunities for students to gain placements and internships experience as well as graduate employment opportunities on completion of their studies.

We will consider applications from across the spectrum of accounting and finance but are particularly interested in candidates also able to deliver high quality and innovative teaching in the areas of banking, taxation, auditing and financial reporting.

Experience of engagement with external partners and delivering HE provision across a distributed campus, including online, would be an advantage.

With a PhD or with equivalent experience in an appropriate subject area, you will be an excellent communicator, will enjoy working as part of a team and will be committed to your own personal development within your subject field. Opportunities for delivery at our international partner campuses may also be available. Knowledge, understanding and experience of the various Professional Bodies within the field of Accounting and Finance is key.

The post will be based in Luton (with travel to other campuses as required).
