Teaching Assistant

Our Association of Nutrition (AfN)-accredited on-campus MSc Human Nutrition and on-line MSc Clinical Nutrition programmes offer comprehensive research-focussed postgraduate training in Nutrition with unique specialisations in clinical and metabolic nutrition, molecular nutrition and public health nutrition.

The MSc programmes are delivered on our Aberdeen Foresterhill campus or on-line, or in a blended mode, with many of the research projects carried out within the Rowett Institute, which holds a well-deserved reputation as a world leader in nutrition research.

The focus of the post will be to support our programme and course coordinators with the development and delivery of our on-line and blended nutrition programmes and courses, as well as CPD courses.

The post holder will be supported in their teaching role by an experienced and vibrant academic and professional services support team within the School of Medicine, Medical Sciences and Nutrition, and wider university.

Salary will be at the appropriate point on Grade 5, £28,756 – £32,344 per annum, and negotiable with placement according to qualifications and experience.

This post does not meet the minimum requirements for visa sponsorship under the Skilled Worker Route. We are therefore unable to consider applicants for this post that require sponsorship to work in the UK.
