We have a great opportunity to help shape and improve our medical workforce department at UHSussex. As Head of Medical Workforce, you will be involved with a combination of service delivery and developing medical staffing policy in a large NHS Trust employing over 2,400 medical staff.

Forging excellent relationships with our Chiefs of Service, you will use your expert knowledge of medical staffing to deliver a first-class medical workforce service for our medical leaders, doctors, and managers.

This is a great step up for an existing and highly experienced Medical Staffing Manager who demonstrates excellent leadership skills and is looking for their next challenge. Benefitting from the support of a Chief People Officer who has a passion for medical HR, you will work to improve medical staffing systems and processes and lead the delivery of quality services.

A credible individual, you will have the ability to build strong relationships with the consultant body and operational management teams to ensure that you can fully contribute to the deployment and management of our medical workforce.

Setting the standard for high quality medical HR practice, you will work with an experienced and enthusiastic team to enhance our service offering and ensure that we embrace new ways of working to create a centre of medical staffing excellence.

This is a full-time position working on site for 3-4 days a week.
