An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Finance team for a Finance Manager in our Division B management accounting finance team; a complex clinical division including ED, Pathology, Cancer Care and Specialist Medicine care groups. This role will support the effective financial planning, performance and reporting requirements of the Division working with multiple stakeholders. The postholder will have excellent communication skills, commercial and business planning acumen, and an ability to prioritise a demanding and complex workload. Your Responsibilities

What you’ll do

• You will provide financial and commercial analysis of divisional clinical and non-clinical activities including NHS and non-NHS contracts and partnerships
• You will oversee the preparation and delivery of the monthly management accounts for the division, working with a wide range of stakeholders
• As a key member of the division, you will provide clear, concise, and professional communication, supporting and developing financial models and scenarios for innovative new services and investments
• You will work on highly complex, sensitive, and sometimes contentious information, where collaboration and co-operation with service managers and clinicians is essential

What we’re looking for

• You will be a people-focused finance professional, with clear communication skills and experience of financial project management, financial appraisal, and forecasting
• Working with a range a stakeholder, you will demonstrate a solid understanding of budgetary control processes, budget setting and financial planning, combined with a broad understanding of financial accounting and control issues
• With a supportive and flexible team around you to deliver, you will be able to present and explain financial information in a timely manner that can easily be understood by non-finance managers and key system partners
