The Campus Registry is responsible for providing high quality, effective and efficient delivery of academic administration to students and staff for the courses based at the Rochester Campus. Managed by the Campus Registrar, the postholder will be part of a student-facing team and be responsible for the proactive management of local administrative systems and processes related to the pre-degree Further Education courses delivered at our Canterbury and Rochester campuses.
This pivotal and dynamic role will secure compliance with statutory requirements with regards the attendance and assessment of students on our pre-degree Further Education courses. The post-holder will be able to demonstrate due diligence, attention to detail and good IT skills as they will be required to ensure accuracy of student data in both our internal SITS student records system and the MIS of the external awarding bodies that confer the awards.
The post is part-time and some regular travel to the Canterbury campus will be required.
The successful candidate will have experience in complex and fast-moving administrative environments and have excellent communication skills, written and verbal, including a high standard of written English and possess strong IT skills, in particular MS Word, MS Excel, and experience in the use of databases.
Actual salary for 29 hours per week is £18,789-£21,072 per annum.
