Student Support and Wellbeing comprise of a team of expert disability advisers, mental health coordinators, mentors and study skills tutors. Student and Registry Services are responsible for providing services to all students throughout their time at UCL and for supporting academic departments and administrative staff in delivering a high quality student experience. The role of wellbeing administrator is instrumental in the success of our team and service. The Wellbeing Adviser post provides key administrative support to the Student Support and Wellbeing Team. We are looking for an individual who enjoys and thrives in a busy administrative environment. This includes responding to Applicant Support Questionnaires, Student Enquiries, answering the telephone, booking appointments and sharing key information. The wellbeing adviser will provide advice and support to disabled students and prospective students and those who may be affected by wellbeing and/or mental health conditions. This includes remote same day appointments, telephone, email and enquiry support. With support, the Wellbeing Adviser will identify reasonable adjustments for individual students, liaising with academic and other staff to ensure their needs are disseminated in a confidential manner, as well as promoting the service and leading on wellbeing initiatives throughout the UCL community. This is a great opportunity for a skilled administrator who would like to experience support and wellbeing work.
The wellbeing adviser and administrator will need to enjoy both administration and student-led work. The successful candidate will have an interest in support and wellbeing related work within an education environment.
