We are seeking a Marketplace/Ecommerce Assistant who will be accountable for creating and maintaining our product listings on marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, Walmart and others and providing administrative support for an omni-channel brand. The ideal candidate is a results-oriented problem solver, data-driven marketer, who is passionate about ecommerce business.

The Marketplace/Ecommerce Assistant s to the Supervisor of Marketplaces and works cross-functionally to support and drive key marketing projects that support business unit growth.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare all new product attribute data for addition to online marketplaces such as Amazon, Walmart and eBay. The ability to work quickly and accurately is a must, and attention to detail is essential.
• Resolve product listing errors through all means at your disposal, including coordination with creative resources, investigation of product issues and direct communication with the marketplaces.
• Focus on the growth of marketplace(s) through product listing optimization, communication and relationship development with marketplace account representatives.
• Perform regular sales and product performance analysis via ing using strong and accurate Excel skills.
• Set up new vendors in our system.
• Place initial purchase orders for new product as directed by merchants.
• Enter and maintain product information in database and forecasting system.
• Gather product information and creative assets for new product and deliver to Creative Services Department.
• Proof electronic catalogs and web sites.
• Communicate with outside vendors and cross-functional teams.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Experience with online marketplaces including prior experience with Seller Central and a channel integration partner preferred, but not required
• An understanding of the nuanced online marketplace environment and the drive to succeed in it
• Proactively utilize all resources to solve problems and improve efficiency
• A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail – this is crucial
• Flexible and solution-oriented with excellent time management, great organizational skills, and the ability to multitask
• Strong Excel skills
• The capability to work well within a team environment including a willingness to wear many different hats in order to achieve success for the company as a whole
• Strong communication skills with team members, managers and other department members
