JOB SUMMARY: Oversees the administration function of sourcing and acquisition of Entertainment Talent/Contracted Acts from outside of UO, in order to provide exceptional entertainment and promote a positive guest experience. This includes talent for Park Venues, CW Venues, Marquee Events, Special Events, etc.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Leads the efforts to research available talent from agencies and other multiple sources to provide the Entertainment Division with a strong pool of quality contract acts. Serve as a primary contact to local and regional talent agencies to identify talent availability, touring schedules, historical performance data in the procurement of all live contract acts on property. Oversee the data management for: tour history reports, publicity contacts and general information for major touring artists and talent agencies. Responsible to contract outside talent/entertainment for presentation within Universal Orlando, as well as preparing and tracking all necessary documentation required by UO and the agency/talent from inception to close of event.
• Assist with Contract Management – prepare talent offers, contract riders and payment schedules for headline talent appearing for Marquee Events, to include NYE, Grab Bash, Mardi Gras, Rock the Universe and other various events. Assist Contract Supervisor with contract review and mark-ups of headline talent agreement. Provide all essential logistic information to both talent and internal production team to ensure that we are compliant with contract requirements and to ensure successful event execution.
• Maintain Master Planning Calendars for Contracting, Licensing and Booking and resource needs, which includes license expirations, event schedules, rehearsals, informational due dates and contract fulfillment.
• Assist Casting Management with Audition Master Calendar: casting needs deadlines and audition planning. Assist with maintenance of Casting Documents: internal and external performer auditions, compensation document, audition coordination, internal performance offers, HR internet copy, audition notices and staffing of auditions.
• Oversee the administrative function required for processing all intellectual licensed properties (HHN IP’s, Character Licenses, etc.) to include payment schedule and contract fulfillment.
• Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

SCOPE: Role assists with oversight of the talent sourcing, selection and contracting for Entertainment acts. Assist with contracts, payments and data management. Assist with Master Calendars for events and casting.

EDUCATION:

• High school degree or GED: Required
• Bachelor’s degree: Related field – Theater, Film/Video Production preferred.

EXPERIENCE: 5-8 years of experience in the Entertainment Industry required: preferably in the areas of talent management, casting management, directing talent and/or promoting talent; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
