JOB SUMMARY: Ensures the effective operation of staffing programs and Universal Orlando Career Network by interacting with Team Members who seek internal job opportunities or other direction. Executes both routine and non-routine administrative/clerical assignments and office management duties in support the department.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides general administrative support and clerical duties for department supervisor and senior representatives which includes: ordering supplies, rescheduling orientations, screening and routing incoming calls, maintaining department files, covering phone system, routing incoming mail, and processing outgoing mail as assigned.
• Responds to inquiries and maintains communication with Team Members including internal applicants and staffing program participants via phone, email, and daily walk-ins. Schedules interviews and career related discussions, and provides administrative support, data entry and general maintenance of staffing programs.
• Prepares and distributes daily, weekly and monthly reports for supervisor and other members of the Talent Acquisition management team by request. Updates and compiles data on spreadsheets weekly.
• Supports the operation of the front desk procedures daily and occasionally supports operational tasks for lobby procedures.
• Administers computer and other skill assessments for applicants and maintains employee records by keying test results in the personnel database.
• Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

SCOPE: An individual in this job must maintain confidential information on a regular basis while displaying a high degree of tact and/or diplomacy when exchanging information. This job requires the individual to be able to work independently with minimal work direction. This role does not have any direct reports.

EDUCATION:

• High school degree or GED is required.
• Associate’s degree (AA) is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin, HR, Communication preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

• 0-1 Year: Administrative support and/or HR experience is required.
• 1-3 Years: Administrative and computer experience in a windows environment preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Role will occasional include travel to off-site job fairs and hiring events. Travel may involve using a personal or company vehicle.
