Essential skills/ experience:: – The FP&A Business Partner is responsible for financial planning and analytics for their respective area, supporting the Bank’s key budgeting and forecasting processes, and business partnering senior execs. Key to success in this role is the ability to analyse business performance, utilise data to understand and surface key business drivers, and engage, support and challenge the business to make good decisions on cost.

What do I need to know?

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• Previous experience of budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, financial performance analysis and cost management.
• Ability to take responsibility for key finance processes, utilising support roles and prioritising work to meet deadlines.
• Technical accounting knowledge with previous experience within financial services.
• Stakeholder management skills and potential to grow into leadership role.

What type of Challenges do I solve?

• In-still accountability (efficiency and effectiveness) in the business supported by accurate month-end reporting and analysis.
• Utilising data to understand and surface business drivers, levers to manage financial performance, and emerging risks and opportunities. Supporting and challenging the business to make good decisions on cost.
• Robust delivery of planning cycles for respective areas: budgeting, forecasting, longer-term strategic planning.
• Prepare ad hoc analysis on costs, benchmarking financial performance against peers. Timely, insightful and commercial commentary and discussion with the business.
• Inputting into board papers and investor packs; driving business strategy and influencing at multiple levels of the organisation.

Pay: £350.00-£360.00 per day
