Business Analysts – Trade Finance

Resource to perform Idea to Values (I2V) Business Analyst tasks, including

– Requirements gathering (I2V Portfolio epic business scenarios) engaging with stakeholders across the bank

– Feature refinement, working with Technical Platform & Feature teams

– Business operating and accounting models (building on existing models)

– Non-functional requirements

– Requirement’s traceability

– Supporting other activities e.g. testing clarification, SOPs, implementation, communications

· Commercial Banking UK – Trade finance

· Confluence, jira

· Trade Finance Business

o High level understanding of the trade finance business

o Exposure to different trade finance products both LC and non LC backed as well as Guarantees,

o Exposure to trade finance entities, relationships, and roles (Buyer, seller, buyers bank, sellers bank, advising bank, issuing bank etc. )

o High level understanding of end-to-end trade finance product value chain

· Business Process Mapping and Analysis

o Ability to understand a business process from documents, or interaction, or over the shoulder insight.

o Ability to map out processes and critically analyse processes and its components like handovers, exchange, bottlenecks etc.

· Technology view of Business

o Ability to understand and map the IT supporting the respective processes

o Ability to understand capability and limitations of current state IT affecting business needs and outcomes

· Agile working culture

o Exposure to working in teams in an agile environment

o Exposure to team engagements (participate, gather, process, and share output) and adhere to tight timelines

· Documentation & Reporting

o Ability to create report (word, PPT, Visio etc.) for exchange of information, ideas, proposal and executive playback

· Soft skills

o Ability to be a team player

o Excellent ability to communicate (verbal as well as written)

o Influence without authority in a dynamic environment

o Interact with senior stakeholders

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: £525.00-£550.00 per day
