The Customer Service Representative is responsible for performing a variety of duties to bill and collect COBRA premium for multiple lines of coverage. Works directly with customer and coverage vendors to set up benefit plans directly into our system. Responsible for timely entry of participants into the COBRA processing application as well as entry into the eligibility system. After balancing cash, creates and delivers monthly s to customers. Works with customer and participants to address any issues that arise. Must keep up to date with the ever-changing COBRA regulations to ensure compliance.
This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday – Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:30am – 5:00pm and late shift rotation requirement of 10:30 am to 7:00 pm during the business week as assigned. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.
