Chattanooga Pain Center in Hixson, TN, is seeking a dynamic and organized Business Office Coordinator to join our team. As a pivotal member of our administrative staff, the Business Office Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the business office, managing administrative processes, and supporting the overall efficiency of our healthcare facility.

Responsibilities:

• Billing and Insurance Management:
• Oversee billing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Work closely with insurance providers to process claims efficiently.
• Address patient billing inquiries and concerns with a customer-centric approach.
• Appointment Scheduling:
• Coordinate patient appointments, optimizing the schedule for both providers and patients.
• Utilize scheduling software to manage appointments and ensure seamless communication.
• Front Desk Operations:
• Supervise front desk activities, including check-ins, check-outs, and patient registration.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and visitors.
• Financial Recordkeeping:
• Maintain accurate financial records and assist in budget tracking.
• Prepare financial s as needed by management.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Liaise with healthcare providers, administrative staff, and other departments to facilitate effective communication.
• Participate in regular meetings to discuss office operations and improvements.
• Compliance and Documentation:
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards.
• Oversee documentation processes, including patient records and office procedures.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience in a business office, preferably in a pain management.
• Must have five years of experience in a medical business office setting.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficient in billing and insurance processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and office management software.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
