Financial Analyst

We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our finance team at U.S. Gold Bureau.

This position will work close with Leadership on facilitating the preparation and review of all budget and forecast processes. Prepares analysis of current or proposed operations and provides timely and concise recommendations to improve results and performance.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Work with Finance Manager to prepares annual budgeting and quarterly forecasts from initiation to Board approval for their area of responsibility

· Work with Sales leadership to calculate sales commissions and bonuses in a timely and accurate manner

· Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent information; secures salary information

· Build and maintain budget and forecast templates for use by department managers

· Create ad hoc templates, reports, and analysis for use by departmental managers & executive leadership to evaluate their businesses, including KPIs and industry benchmarking

· Ability to sort/mine large sets of data from multiple data sources (General ledger, CRM, Excel) to identify trends/variances

· Prepares monthly, quarterly, and yearly variance reports

· Collects/organizes financial application information and inputs into financial model

· Reviews and updates regulatory and government annual reports/surveys/census.

· Possess strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

· Work with Accounting department to ensure accurate preparation of monthly financial statements and variance analysis

· Assist in special assignments as needed

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business management with1 to 3-year financial analysis experience

· Strong project orientation, forecasting, budgeting, and analytical skills

· NetSuite experience preferred but not required

· Tableau experience preferred but not required

· Strong knowledge of Excel; excellent communication and organizational skills.
