SUMMARY

Assist warehouse personnel with packaging, transportation and storage of finished goods.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide shipment information and shipment plans to Office Staff
• Schedule shipments stateside and overseas
• Create and maintain shipping lists
• Create shipping labels
• Obtain and assemble skids for shipments
• Load and unload trucks
• Wrap and or band freight
• Communicate with customers about shipments and shipment plans
• Create packing slips, invoices, advance shipping notices
• Send invoices to Accounting Administration and Customers
• Perform warehouse inventory bi-weekly
• Review ship/pick list daily
• Pull product as required on the ship list
• Secure product in special packaging as required
• Transfer product from packaging to storage locations
• Document all product transfers during movement of product
• Provide support and transportation of product to and from packaging dept.
• Assist with transport of RAW material loading and unloading
• Additional duties as assigned.
• Collect and submit timecards for direct labor shop floor personnel

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Duties require verbal and written communication skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

Forklift Experience Required

Requires excellent computer skills

Intermediate reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent, or a 2 degree program.

Communication, Problem Solving, Analytical Ability, Interpersonal and Dexterity Skills are important qualities for a Successful Job Performance.
