We are looking for a highly motivated individual to work with us as a basket builder.

ROLE: As a Basket Builder, your role is to accept incoming orders from our takeout counter and phone staff and efficiently and accurately collect the items from the bakery and kitchen to complete the orders. We expect you to be friendly, warm, safety-oriented, and most importantly, to be yourself!

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet guests as they enter the restaurant warmly and genuinely

Merchandise baked goods

Accept incoming orders based on expected time of pickup

Accept cash and ensure the accurate balancing of the bakery till

Assemble orders in a safe and efficient manner

Provide information on the nutritional/dietary nature of the product

Demonstrate expert understanding of the menu and available modifications

Accurately use a digital point of sale system to register and process orders

Utilize the necessary tools to ensure the accurate assembly of orders

Properly clean and sanitize all food contact surfaces

Ensure that the bakery department is kept clean, well kept, and in good appearance

Clean coffee machines on a weekly basis

Help with side-work and ensure that supplies are stocked and ready for the next shift

REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to stand for a majority of a shift 6-10 hours

Must be able to lift 20lbs

Must be able to move quickly and adapt to a fast-paced workplace

Must be respectful and inclusive of various cultures
