Job overview and responsibilities

This position sets standards for Human Resources reporting, metrics and deliverables and manages delivery of reliable and accurate workforce data to HR and enterprise analysts, and analysis of HRIS data to provide intelligence on HRIS trends, usage, and other HRIS-related metrics

• Provides leadership and guidance to a high performing team and exceptional customer service to internal clients and partners
• Serve as a liaison between Human Resources and Information Technology
• Keeps current with/understands statutory, regulatory and labor relations requirements affecting Human Resources, Benefits, Recruitment and Payroll programs
• Leads design and implementation of reporting strategies and processes
• Leads data mining efforts in support of the functional disciplines of HR
• Responsible for overseeing reports, queries, and data analytics
• Writes, maintains and supports reports, queries and dashboards
• Develops user guides and provides training
• Maintains detailed and comprehensive knowledge of corporate employee-related data sources beyond the HR system
• Provides consultation on availability, context, generation and processing of HR Information
• Develops standard policies and procedures for data management
• Ensures the integrity, accuracy and proper use of HR information retrieved from the systems
• Ensures compliance with SOX and corporate policies and procedures to safeguard employee information and applications access

• Bachelor’s degree or approximately 3-5 years equivalent work experience in MIS, Human Resources or related field required
• Minimum 2 years HRIS experience required
• Data analysis and interpretation required
• Experience with affirmative action plans related to tracking obligations and data reporting
• Comprehensive understanding of HR operations, information systems and process principles, practices and plans required
• Technical and regulatory knowledge required
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and deal with complex issues required
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills (written & verbal) with the ability to build strong working relationships develop and deliver fair and equitable solutions required
• Strong analytical & judgment skills required
• Must have the proven ability to build strong business relationships at all levels required
• Must be self-motivated and have the ability to prioritize/plan and execute using good business judgment in a fast paced environment required
• Understanding of federal and state laws and regulations relating to HR preferred
• Organizational interdependencies, interfaces and processes preferred
• Labor/Union experience preferred
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
• Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
• Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

• Travel 20% of the time
