Billing Officer

What’s the role about?

We are looking for an experienced and proactive individual to join our great team at Unisson. This role acts as a bridge between the Operations and Finance, linking the documenting of service supports and claim efficiently, continuously, and accurately towards the funds available for those services.

Some responsibilities include:

• To ensure that all income is recognised and reconciled within prescribed timeframes via the alignment of funding and activities with external price guides.

• Follow up and resolution of claiming errors and revenue discrepancies.

• Identify and recommend improvement initiatives for administration functions that align with and support organisational quality assurance systems.

• Ensure that the service provided is in keeping with the Disability Service Standards and the policies and procedures of the Organisation.

Our ideal candidate has:

• Tertiary qualification in business or accounting

• NDIS knowledge highly regarded but not essential
