We are currently recruiting for a Talent Acquisition Assistant to sit within the Talent Acquisition team, based in our newly redesigned London office. This is a one-year full time opportunity for someone wanting to start a career within the recruitment function. You will be reporting into the Talent Acquisition Senior Specialist for our UK and EU office functions. You will work closely with various departments including Merchandising Planning, Inventory Control, Ecommerce, IT, Marketing/PR, Finance, HR and more.
As the Talent Acquisition Assistant, you will be responsible for the administration of the end-to-end recruitment activities within the UK & Europe. The role will be liaising with both internal and external business partners to attract and select the best possible talent. You will also be working alongside the Talent team on several exciting projects to support employer branding.
What you will be responsible for
Attraction
  • Writing job advertisements based on role and business needs
  • Advertising across all recruitment platforms and social media channels to ensure we are targeting the best possible talent
  • Engaging with future candidates through emails, and telephone calls – conducting per-screening interviews and being a point of contact for the business
Selection
  • Reviewing and selecting successful candidates based on applications, before progressing to telephone screening phase or rejection
  • Conducting telephone screenings based on the role and business needs, assessing capability and desire to work for UNIQLO before progressing
  • Offering timely, clear and concise candidate feedback based on your assessment to all candidate who interview with UNIQLO
  • Organising and facilitating interviews within the business with relevant departments including hiring managers and local HR
Other
  • Timely data entry, tracking, and reporting of application data, active candidates, and interview processes
  • Communicate with both candidates and external stakeholders in a timely and gracious manner throughout the recruiting lifecycle
  • Being a UNIQLO brand ambassador for careers within UNIQLO, both internally and externally
  • Working with the Talent Acquisition team to make improvements to the recruitment process and employer branding.
Candidate’s Profile
What we are looking for:
Experience
  • Having worked within a retail or hospitality environment
  • Having completed or currently studying at degree level – ideally within HR or Business Studies
Skills & Attributes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent people engagement skills, and building relationships with peers and stakeholders
