We are looking for an HR Advisor for Unilever Australia. It is one the most important roles at our Ice Cream factory in Minto, responsible for end-to-end employee experience! You will be the primary contact for all employees regarding any queries relevant to HR systems and processes, spanning on-boarding, leave, travel, exits, policies, absenteeism management & issue escalations. You will work with various teams in HR & Legal to enable a flawless end-to-end employee experience for employees’ day to day HR needs, including leading and executing an engagement calendar for the site. This role also works in collaboration with the Payroll Officer to ensure all employees are paid on time in full.
Role Responsibilities:
Policy and EBA guidance and administration. You will be a trusted go-to person for the team on site for all day to day HR queries, questions and policies. Advise on appropriate policy implementation for any particular employee need, and see the policy through to execution where applicable
Case management and investigations. You will be responsible to execute basic onsite workplace investigations in a sensitive and professional manner and escalate complicated cases for support from IE/ER Lead and on site HRBP as appropriate
Engagement Plan for the site. You will be responsible in creating an engagement plan for the site, including but not limited to recognition programmes, incentive programmes, wellbeing programmes and events on site and lead the execution of the engagement plan, in collaboration with the site leadership team
Data and Systems management. Effectively manage all HR systems (including Workday, kronos, ADP), ensuring all employee data is always fully accurate and up to date. Proactively identifying continuous improvement opportunities of processes and documenting. Tracking Absenteeism and Attrition for the site – with proposals and action plans.
Proactively informing employees of pay related issues/comms after getting feeds from Payroll Officer and support benefit administration for employees without access to IT systems
Responsible for On-boarding for salaries team members on site
Accountable for exit checklist sign-off, anchoring mandatory document collection from employee/family to enable smooth exits , including system exit and termination pay and guide employee and line manager through exit process to enable smooth implementation. Must ensure warm handover between the stakeholders when required.Must own/distribute exit letter to blue collar employees and be accountable for making sure Leavers are processed according to Unilever joiners standards

Meet local education requirements in a related field
Has relevant HR generalist experience, interpreting and working with an EBA.
Proficient & broad understanding of HR systems, processes, and 3rd party providers.
Strong multi-tasking skills with a comfort in maintaining multiple, often conflicting, priorities, and deadlines
Comfortable working in MS Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, OneDrive, Outlook, SharePoint etc.); advance proficiency in Excel required. Experience of HR systems (a PLUS if worked with workday / ADP / Kronos)
