Structural / Civil Engineer – S75 1HA – £30,000 to £50,000 per annum

We have an exciting opportunity for a Structural / Civil Engineer to join a growing business specialising in the Building Structures field, offering more than 30 years of award winning experience of both design and construction.

As a Structural / Civil Engineer you will be based at the Barnsley office along with the opportunity to work from home twice per week, offering flexible working to suit your lifestyle, some site visits may be required also within the local area.

Acting as lead engineer across multiple projects the Structural / Civil Engineer will work on a range of projects across the Residential, Industrial, Leisure and Network Rail sector.

The role;

Roles and responsibilities of the Structural / Civil Engineer with include;

·         Project management

·         Liaising with clients

·         Creating detailed design

·         Finite Element Analysis

·         Connection designs

·         Detailed design

·         Ensuring project deadlines are achieved

·         Uphold a strict quality standard of work

Skills/Qualifications Required;

·         Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering

·         Experience and knowledge in both structural and civil engineering

·         Experience in the use of the following systems is desirable but not essential; Dubal, RFEM 6, Tekla Structural Design, Tekla Tedds, Autodesk robot, IDEA StatiCa
