Description : ROLE OVERVIEW :

ROLE OVERVIEW :

The position is responsible for providing operational support for all trade, sample and patient assistance distribution at client and third-party distribution centers.

The role provides operation support to planning activities associated with transportation, warehousing, inventory levels, materials handling, order administration and communication networks associated with client’s transfers of pharmaceutical product from manufacturing sources to client’s network of distribution centers.

The role supports vendor governance oversight model for third party vendors providing warehousing, logistics support for trade, samples and free goods processes.

The role is responsible for supporting trade and sample product launches and other department projects.

Job Responsibilities (to include key results areas, specific accountabilities, tasks, etc)

Supply Point Coordination

• Maintain strong relationships and manage the interfaces with intra-company supply sites, internal distribution centers and third party logistic providers
• Support supply plan execution for each product that maintains agreed levels of stock and customer service for the US markets.
• Support continuous improvement process between supply points to minimize lead times and optimize efficiency of supply.

Distribution, Inventory and Vendor Management :

• Coordination and execution of stock replenishment activities and management of inventory levels ensuring sufficient stocking levels at our Distribution Centers
• Reconciliation of warehouse inventory balances to SAP.
• Provide operational support in monitoring and ing department key performance metrics.
• Supports budget delivery and the maintenance of internal systems as required to support budget management process.
• Support tactical business needs for all trade, sample and patient assistance distribution process.
• Maintain and develop process area SOPs, Client Work Instructions (CWIs) and Business Rules related to distribution of trade, samples and free goods.
• Participate on product launch teams, new sampling initiatives, and new packaging configurations.
• Manage ing metrics for OTIF and Tier process.
• Monitors and maintain compliance to Prescription Drug Marketing Act (PDMA), Good Manufacturing Practices, Safety Health and Environmental, Sarbanes-Oxley, business procedures, raising and addressing issues as they arise.
• Support the required client and FDA related ing to support lot distribution data and quality review ing.
• Support the issue / escalation process through appropriate tier level management
• Assume responsibility for ad hoc projects and assignments as required by manager.
