Underground Printing Hiring for Performance Marketing Manager Full Time

We produce all our printed apparel in our Production Facility in Michigan with 172,000 SF of screen printing and embroidery production and over 250+ employees. We serve both B2C and B2B customers such as non-profits, retailers, and Universities through our 44 store and office locations across the United States. Additionally, we help brands and licensors sell online both through company branded and marketplace websites.

We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to join our team in the role of We are looking for a talented Performance and Growth Marketing expert with 5+ years of experience managing paid media campaigns on Amazon.com and Google, as well as email and affiliate marketing.

Media: In this position you will manage a budget to purchase media across search, display, video and retargeting. The paid media campaigns will encompass the full funnel of the customer experience which starts by driving awareness for our main lines of business: custom printed shirts and collegiate apparel, and ends with direct transactions on undergroundshirts.com and shop.undergroundshirts.com. These campaigns will focus on customers within our target markets and include prospecting, engagement and retargeting. You should have experience managing budgets of $500k/year or more, campaign testing, tracking and ing and setting campaign strategy and expected results. This position is key to the continued success of our ecommerce strategy.

Affiliate: Your main duties will include managing the company’s affiliate program through a 3rd party agency. Includes day to day management, ing, optimization and analysis, Look for opportunities to grow and maximize affiliate partnerships.

Email: Your main duties will include running email marketing campaigns end to end, managing email databases and creating newsletters. Includes content creation, ing, optimization and analysis, Look for opportunities to grow the database and maximize overall campaign performance.

Responsibilities:

• Manage, improve, grow, and optimize paid search and media campaigns to drive incremental sales
• Manage Amazon-specific paid advertising campaigns
• Reviewing and tracking results from paid campaigns to Managing budget and forecasting future growth
• Manage paid affiliate programs in conjunction with affiliate marketing agency
• Meet with affiliate agencies on a regular basis, research and implement suggested programs.
• Launching new paid digital ad campaigns to target and then retarget engaged customers
• Email creation, management, optimization and ing. Look for ways to increase KPI’s (open, click-through and conversion rates) as well as grow the overall database.
• Working with our Design team to develop creative that appeals to our end users and is appropriate for where they are in the customer funnel
• Running continuous A/B tests to improve campaign performance and efficiency
• Developing an understanding of customer personas and behavior
• Stay up to date with latest digital marketing best practices and technologies
• Attend educational conferences and webinars
• Train others on the team to ensure knowledge sharing
• Present to Senior Management as needed
• Participate in mandatory company conference calls (e.g. Daily or Weekly L10s).
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• 5+ years direct experience managing Search, Display and Video advertising on Amazon and Google
• 5+ years direct experience managing affiliate marketing programs
• 5+ years managing email marketing campaigns
• Ability to modify strategies based on new data or changes to market conditions
• Experience creating or a strong understanding of test and learn strategies
• A solid understanding of Ad campaign metrics and how to align them with business goals
• Experience partnering to develop and manage content for advertising and product pages
• Strong follow through on deliverables and the ability to manage many different tasks at once
• Ability to work within a team and independently
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
• This position s to the Head of Marketing. This position will be based out of our Ypsilanti, MI office. The schedule is Monday – Friday during business hours and some occasional after hours to support advertising efforts during key periods.
