The Ultra Engineering function manages a portfolio of specialist capabilities, generating highly differentiated solutions and products by applying electronic, mechanical, and software technologies in demanding and critical environments to meet customer needs.

The Software Engineering function in Ultra supports the software development lifecycle consisting of requirements analysis, design, implementation, test and verification in order to deliver

software components into projects and products and supports the deployment and maintenance of software components.

The role holder manages professionals in a defined area of Ultra. Develops plans for their team to ensure optimum use of time and resources. Ensures team performance is aligned and contributes to the overall plans of their area.

Under the supervision of the Software Design and Validation Manager, the candidate will :

Participate in the design of the next generation of our graphical user interfaces

Improve the ergonomics of our configuration tools

Propose concepts that are at the forefront of the latest trends in graphic interfaces

Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to improve the Image of our products

Participate in testing under conditions similar to military deployments

Facilitate product design by providing the production group with simple and efficient tools

Participate in the group’s team spirit
