This new construction high-technology plant will have the latest Battery Cell manufacturing technology. The investment in this new business venture represents a commitment of more than $2.

3 Billion. It will be among the largest Battery Cell Manufacturing plants in the world. Ultium Cells will produce Battery Cells for General Motors North American electric vehicle applications.

Job Description : The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be instrumental in sourcing, attracting, and hiring talent for Ultium Cells.

This person will support the operations and production teams out of our Spring Hill, Tennessee location. This position aligns the company culture with recruitment messaging to new candidates.

The individual within this role will actively form connections with the community, recruit for salary and hourly positions, and build a relevant talent pipeline.

Job Responsibilities : Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers, craft detailed and compelling job descriptions, determine effective screening questions, and market open job opportunitiesSource, screen and recruit skilled talent by utilizing the ATS (Applicant Tracking System), job boards, postings, referrals, and attending recruiting eventsProvide proposals and recommendations to upgrade, change and / or eliminate recruiting systems based on responses and market conditionsResponsible for full-life cycle recruiting for both salary and hourly positionsSource and interview job applicants, evaluate applicant skills and make recommendations regarding applicant’s qualifications for exempt and non-exempt positionsAssist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, initiates change as necessary to ensure compliance with law, corporate policies and business objectivesDevelop and maintain relationships with employment agencies, universities, community colleges, high schools, communities, and other recruitment sourcesRepresent the company and give presentations about career opportunities at colleges, high schools, career fairs, and moreInteract with chambers of commerce / government agenciesWill be required to complete other hiring and marketing related projectsQualifications and Competencies : Bachelor Degree required3-5 years of experience in recruitingMust be proficient with Microsoft OfficeMust have knowledge with social media and recruiting toolsMust be detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skillsTotal Rewards Information : We offer market-competitive compensation including base pay and incentive compensation opportunities based on the achievement of Company goals.
