Vice President – Software Development

In this role, you’ll serve as an executive technology leader, partnering to identify and create the technology investment portfolio to further Uline’s growth. Set development strategy for one of the largest e-commerce sites in the U.S as Uline’s Vice President of Software Development.

Position Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations of IT Application Development working closely with the CIO and other leaders on business initiatives.

• Manage and develop a team of directors and external service providers responsible for consistent operational support and availability.

• Oversee complex IT application development projects.

• Develop and maintain a customer-focused, agile and accountable department that delivers high-quality code.

• Manage capital and operating budgets for software development team.

Minimum Requirements

• Master’s degree in Information Technology or business-related field preferred.

• 15+ years of IT Management experience, including direct leadership of software development teams.

• Experience with Java, J2EE, .NET, SQL, Angular, Oracle for custom application software development.

• Available for travel to Uline’s domestic and international branches.
