Position Responsibilities

• Assist in directing daily operations of Uline’s U.S. Accounting group.

• Assist in the preparation of various financial statements and reports.

• Oversee accounting personnel, directing the team’s daily activities in a functional area, such as fixed assets, cost accounting, general accounting and accounting analysis.

• Review journal entries and account reconciliations.

• Provide training and development opportunities to team members.

• Participate in HR processes, including staffing, hiring decisions and performance evaluations.

• Remain up to date on new accounting procedures and their effect on the Uline financial statements.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA preferred.

• 5+ years experience in Accounting, supervisory experience preferred.

• Excellent Microsoft Office and time management skills.

• Oracle G/L or similar G/L experience preferred.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience with the month-end close process.
