We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Records Transcriber to join our team on a remote basis. This is a 3-month contract position, with the possibility of extension or conversion to full-time for the right candidate. Please note that remote employees must reside on the East Coast. As a Medical Records Transcriber, your main responsibility will be accurately transcribing medical records and ensuring adherence to guidelines. Responsibilities:

– Transcribe medical records, including patient histories, exam findings, test results, and treatment plans, ensuring accuracy and adherence to guidelines.

– Review and verify transcriptions for completeness, accuracy, and clarity.

– Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to privacy regulations when handling sensitive patient information.

– Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify any unclear information in the medical records.

– Utilize transcription software and tools efficiently.

– Meet assigned deadlines and maintain high-quality standards.

Requirements:

– Proven experience as a Medical Transcriptionist/ Medical Records or in a similar role.

– Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.

– Proficient typing skills with high accuracy.

– Familiarity with medical transcription software and tools.

– Attention to detail and ability to maintain focus during extended periods of transcription work.

– Excellent time management and organizational skills.

– Ability to work independently and remotely.

– Reside on the East Coast.
