We are looking for a Finance Analyst (Financial Planning & Analysis) to join our Finance team!

Location of the role: London (SE1) & Flexi Home Working

Overview:

Within the UK we operate a Prestige Hub – which functions as the Group Headquarters of REN Clean Skincare and as the UK offices of the other Prestige entities. We function as one combined Finance team which supports both the REN Clean Skincare Group and the UK operations of Murad, Kate Somerville and Living Proof. This newly created role encompasses a wide-range of responsibilities, and requires technical accounting knowledge and developing commercial acumen skills. Enthusiasm, determination and willingness to learn will be key to success in this role!

Responsibilities & Duties:

The role will support the business with forecasting, budget management and tracking/reporting of the businesses’ revenue and costs. You will assist the Senior Finance Manager with:

Performance:

• Analyse and share monthly variances to budget/forecast across the P&L (sales, margin, advertising and overheads) for all brands and drivers of those variances.
• Providing deep dive analysis into drivers of Gross Margin.
• Partnering with the sales teams to understand sales performance at customer and product level and capturing within forecasts.
• Preparing Quarterly and Monthly Financial reports including reporting and presentations to Unilever.

Forecasting & budgeting:

• Preparing monthly rolling forecasts.
• Working with Supply Chain to align finance and demand forecasts.
• Working with all functions on the annual budgeting process.
• Simplifying and streamlining ways of working, creating consistencies across all the brands.
• Preparing Quarterly and Monthly Financial reports including reporting and presentations to Unilever.
• Ad-Hoc Projects and Analysis.

What we are looking for:

• Enthusiasm, determination, and willingness to learn will be key to success in this role.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and excel skills.
• Ability to present results in a simplified manner.
• Determination and willingness to learn.
• Pro-active team player.
• Studying towards a Professional finance qualification equivalent to CA, CIMA, ACCA.
• Experience of working in SAP/Oracle/NetSuite or another equivalent accounting software.
• Experience of working in and developing reporting within Tableau/Power BI/Other Data Analytics software beneficial.
