An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accommodation Co-ordinator to join the Student Accommodation Team at the University of East Anglia. The successful candidate will provide a customer focussed service to residents staying in university accommodation, including homestay accommodation and family houses. The postholder will be required to respond to enquiries from internal and external sources about UEA accommodation, allocation policies and operational and procedural matters.

The role encompasses a variety of other tasks including allocating accommodation on our room booking system, reporting defects within residences, monitoring room conditions and liaison with our Cleaning team, advising on arrivals and departures, dealing with complaints, providing information on University open days, and contributing to the smooth running of the Accommodation Office.

We are seeking a candidate with excellent communication and organisation skills who has ability to build positive working relationships with key stakeholders. Experience of working in a customer focused environment is essential, with experience of working in a busy office environment or accommodation role being advantageous.

Due to the nature of the role, the successful post holder will occasionally be required to work out of hours and weekends over arrival and departure weekends and on University events such as open days.
