Detailed job description and main responsibilities
The Clinical and Education fellow posts are based in the Trauma & Orthopaedic Department at University College London Hospitals NHS Trust (UCLH).
These newly created posts offer an exciting opportunity for surgical trainees interested in furthering their educational and simulation experience.
The post will combine educational experience with training opportunities in Trauma & Orthopaedic surgery including traumatic and non-traumatic orthopaedic conditions. The successful candidates will join the SHO rota with timetabled operating and outpatient sessions.
Successful applicants will be provided with Training to Teach and Leadership and Management training. They will also be encouraged to access After Action Review and Quality Improvement training.
Daily Trauma multi-disciplinary meetings are held along with a range of MDT meetings with other departments.
