The Talent Acquisition Specialist will oversee and facilitate full-lifecycle recruitment activities including recruitment marketing, direct contact/sourcing of candidates through networking and social media, candidate screening, candidate interview process oversight and coordination, reference checking and compensation negotiation activities. Additionally, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will ensure completion of recruitment and selection documentation for record keeping; assist with onboarding activities and coordination with service providers, provide talent acquisition system status updates and candidate status tracking; complete recruitment pipeline s on a regular basis to support activities with hiring managers. In consultation with hiring managers, will assist with development of interview questions, development of candidate assessment criteria, and provide recommendations for candidate consideration.
Additional responsibilities may include working with approved temporary staffing vendors to submit resource requests, student recruitment advertising and screening, coordination with Campus Human Resources with regard to job posting extensions or marketing. Ability and willingness to work after-hours as needed or assigned.

Required/Preferred
Three or more years of experience working in a Talent Acquisition; demonstrated experience with technical recruitment across all IT areas/functions.

Demonstrated ability to develop compelling messaging to attract and source highly skilled candidates for information technology and related positions.

Skilled in recruitment marketing, direct-sourcing, social media outreach and diversity recruitment; adept with sourcing using platforms such as LinkedIn.

Ability to independently oversee full life-cycle recruitment activities to drive hiring activities among leadership; proactively plans hiring activities with hiring managers from screening through onboarding.

Possess the verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization; ability to use standard English grammar and punctuation.

Skill and experience to effectively utilize common office productivity software such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Outlook, Slack, Zoom, and internet browsers.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Psychology or related field and three years of experience OR equivalent combination of relevant professional experience and education.
