TheDepartment of Pediatrics at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA seeks candidates for a full-time staff M.D.position in the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. This is a full- timeposition providing clinical care specifically at our community hospital site atMiller Children’s and Women’s Hospital in Long Beach, California. The UCLA/Miller Children’s physician group providesquality, compassionate care to a diverse community of children, adolescents,and young adults with cancer, sickle cell disease, and other serious blooddisorders. The Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Program at Miller’s Children’sHospital, the Jonathon Jaques Children’s Cancer (JJCC) Institute, has a strongclinical research infrastructure to support our faculty and patient access toclinical trials through the Children’s Oncology Group, as well as otherNational Cancer Institute supported trials. You will work withmulti-disciplinary care teams that enhance patient care with radiationoncology, pediatric surgery, ortho-oncology, and all pediatric subspecialties.Strong emphasis is placed on integrating new research efforts into treatmentplans that allow children access to the latest therapies and technologies.
