Ubihere, an innovative artificial intelligence hardware and software start-up, is seeking a full stack web developer to assist in the development of our commercial products. This position will focus primarily on development on mobile computer vision solutions for a variety of customers. Come work with one of Columbus’s cutting edge computer vision start-ups.

Deployments of our mobile computer vision solution will encompass a variety of applications ranging from inventory management and process monitoring to indoor visual navigation solutions.

The ideal candidate will be a key member within the Ubihere organization, capable of taking ownership of specific problems and autonomously designing and implementing software solutions.

Required Experience:

• Experience designing, developing, and deploying a computer vision software solutions

• Experience with the use of AI neural networks, object detection, character recognition and other software tools

• Experience developing in C++, Java, and Python

• Experience with software design, software review, and software testing methodologies

• Team oriented software development experience

Desired Experience:

• Experience working in Android operating systems

• Experience with PyTorch or Tensorflow

Ideal Qualifications:

• Comfortable working with and creating automation tools to boost productivity of own development and of the team

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; or relevant experience

• 2+ years of professional AI/ML software development experience

• Have working knowledge of Git

• Experience across a wide range of languages, technologies, and disciplines is highly preferred

Position Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining AI computer vision software and solutions

• Be an active contributor to designing and implementing solutions to future products and services

• Tackles engineering challenges as they arise — either solo or pulling in others to assist as needed

• Maintains documentation of designed systems and codebases to enable knowledge-sharing with other engineers on team
