ABOUT THE COMPANY

TwoScots are currently partnering with a large NFP organisation who supports thousands of Australians in the community. The office is based in Richmond close to public transport and also offers flexible working arrangements. The organisation is seeking a Project Accountant who will be involved in assisting with multiple projects across different departments within the organisation. The role is responsible for effective project management and delivery from a financial standpoint.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

• Dealing with multiple streams of government funding and ensuring that the budget for the project is spent wisely
• Involved in monthly reporting
• Maintain project-related records
• Partnering with project managers across the organization
• Capitalizing of projects
• Assisting with software implementation
• Other ad hoc duties as required

SKILLS + EXPERIENCE.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or an equivalent qualification
• Ideally CA / CPA qualified or working towards completion
• 3+ year’s experience in a similar role
• Previous experience in the NFP industry would be highly regarded
• Empathic personality and a passion for making a difference
• Strong excel skills
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships
• Ability to explain finance terms to non-finance departments.
