Essential Functions

• Clearly articulate documentation needs and convey urgency with regard to timely receipt.
• Review,verify, and ensure completeness and accuracy of documents submitted to underwriting.
• Manage assigned pipeline in order to meet closing expectations.
• Process FHA, VA, Conventional, and Non-Agency transactions.
• Accurately calculate income for all types of borrowers.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with customers, Realtors, loan officers, and all internal staff.
• Request, review, and verify all loan documents such as income, credit, appraisal, and title insurance to ensure complete and accurate information is received before sending to underwriting.
• Prioritize and manage work flows ensuring that all files are updated on a daily basis.
• Maintain constant communication with customers, Realtors, loan officers, and all internal staff on status updates and/or changes to the loan.

Candidates should exhibit the following skills:

• 3+ years’experience processing mortgage loans.
• Demonstrate advanced product knowledge of FHA, VA, Conventional and other loan programs such as Home Equity Lines of Credit, 2nd Mortgages, Home Improvement, down payment assistance, and bond programs.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of federal and state guidelines, rules and regulations such as TRID.
• Advanced ability to analyze complex tax returns and accurately calculate income for all types of borrowers.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
