Our client, a fast growing D2C e-commerce company in the food and beverage space is looking for a Packaging Designer to join their growing team.

Already established with Amazon, Target, Walmart, Whole Foods and more, our client is entering a period of rapid growth and looking to expand their already impressive creative efforts.

This person will play a crucial role in crafting visually captivating and impactful packaging solutions that enhance our brand identity and contribute to an exceptional unboxing experience for our client’s customers.

Responsibilities :

• Packaging Design : Conceptualize and create innovative packaging designs that align with our brand aesthetics and values, while effectively communicating the product’s features and benefits.
• Visual Branding : Collaborate closely with the marketing and design teams to ensure packaging designs maintain consistency with our overall brand image, logo, colors, and typography.
• Product Presentation : Develop packaging solutions that not only protect the product during transit but also present it in an aesthetically pleasing and memorable manner.
• User Experience : Focus on enhancing the unboxing experience for our customers by designing packaging that evokes excitement, surprise, and delight.
• Sustainability : Integrate sustainable packaging practices and materials, demonstrating a commitment to eco-friendly initiatives and reducing environmental impact.
• Print Production : Prepare packaging design files for print, ensuring accuracy, color consistency, and proper technical specifications for production.
• Research and Trends : Stay updated on packaging design trends, industry innovations, and consumer preferences to bring fresh and relevant ideas to the table.
• Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and operations, to ensure packaging designs align with product specifications and timelines.
• Quality Assurance : Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure that the final printed packaging meets design standards and requirements.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience in packaging design, ideally within the D2C ecommerce or consumer goods sector.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.).
• Strong understanding of print production processes and techniques.
• A keen eye for detail, composition, and color theory.
• Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and generate original ideas.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Portfolio showcasing a diverse range of packaging design projects.
