About the program:

Our partner elementary public school has decided to give support to students who are struggling in reading. The teacher will be working with KG and 1st Graders. Some students have ELL needs. This program is funded by NYC DOE Recovery Program. Training will be provided for a Reading program.

The program schedule-

Start Date-Nov 30th-December 22nd

Days-Tuesday and Thursday- 3-5 pm. (4 hours per week)

Total Hours per teacher= 16

Teachers number required-5

Pay: $40.00 – $50.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
Vaccination proof required. Masks must be worn at school.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Long Island City, NY 11101: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • NYS General Education Teacher (Required)
