Turning Point Hiring for Recruiter, Talent Acquisition Job at Paterson, NJ Full Time

Turning Point Inc. is looking for a Recruiter/Talent Acquisition professional (on-site position) that is inspired by our mission, creative, self-motivated, team-oriented and has great communication skills. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years experience in recruiting though we will consider less experience and or graduate students whose experience may be derived from internships. While recruiting in healthcare services is a plus, it is not required.

The recruiter/talent acquisition team member will be responsible for attracting the right candidates using systems, different sources from social media, job posting and networks. This role will involve on-boarding, orientation, employee engagement, recruiting and records management.

Responsibilities include:

• Coordinate recruitment and hiring process for all job openings including collecting relevant documentation and correspondence, screening applications, arranging interviews, hiring events.
• Screen resumes and conduct phone, virtual and face-to-face interviews, as well as set up interviews for all hiring managers.
• Contact applicants and maintain all relevant employee records, documentation and correspondence and input relevant information into the HRIS/applicant tracking system.
• Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.Evaluate applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
• Update/revise job descriptions.
• Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; make presentations; maintain rapport.
• On-boarding, reference checking, credentialing and maintain relevant records related to employees.
• Create weekly reports/HR data dashboard on key staff metrics, recruitment efforts to track job sources, background process, clearance, positions filled and positions open, headcount, to improve recruitment efforts.
• Relevant compliance reporting and responsive documentation.

Education/Experience Qualifications include:

• Associate’s Degree/Bachelor’s Degree Required
• New Grads/Post HR internships welcome
• Experience with diversity and inclusion

• 3 years experience with HR, HRIS systems, social media recruitment
• Microsoft Office Proficiency (Word, Strong Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent interpersonal communication/presentation skills
• Strong writing, organization, multi-tasking skills
• Compassion for mission/data driven
