Position Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Chief Financial Officer of TURA, Inc., the incumbent performs a wide range of financial tasks, both technical and clerical, while ensuring accuracy in all assignments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The incumbent is responsible for all Treasury activity including:

• Utilizing bank reporting to update cash projections and daily cash reporting.
• Initiating wire transfers for payment of vendor invoices
• Set up vendor bank information in banking software.
• Working with the Chief Financial Officer on cash projections.

The incumbent is responsible for these Accounts Payable functions:

• Processing all vendor invoices including General Ledger coding.
• Ensuring compliance of company policy regarding purchase orders.
• Reviewing frame vendor invoices in relation to receipt information from the TURA warehouse.
• Cross Referencing A/P Invoices to Vendor Payments.
• Communicating with frame vendors on shipment overages and shortages.

Other related duties include:

• Preparation of all banking related journal entries for the US and Canada.
• Preparation of accounts payable accrual journal entries for the US and Canada.
• Any clerical work related to the assigned duties.

· Special assignments, such as report preparation, consolidation, or other duties during the company’s annual inventory, or during other times of need. These assignments will be within the incumbent’s abilities, and related to the functions of TURA, Inc.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Ability to use calculators.

· Ability to adapt to new accounting programs with minimal supervision.

· Basic math skills.

· Ability to reconcile data in order to maintain accurate records.

· Ability to use computers for all accounting processes, clerical work, and office communications.

Education and Experience:

· An Associate degree in accounting is preferred. In lieu of an associate degree, two to three years’ experience in a similar accounting position is required.

· General knowledge of clerical procedures related to accounting activities.

· Working knowledge of accounting processes and functions.

· Working knowledge of Microsoft programs, including Excel

Confidentiality Requirement:

The incumbent processes and accesses sensitive information daily. The ability to maintain strict confidentiality is essential to the position.

Physical Requirements:

The position is located in an office environment. Work is primarily sedentary; however, there is some walking, bending, and stooping. Some occasional lifting of 15 pounds or less will be required.

Hours of Work: The hours of work are Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m
