We are looking to add a Customer Service Representative to our team, on a one year replacement term. In this role, you will be responsible for obtaining, analyzing, and verifying the accuracy of order information and initiating and/or implementing corrective action as needed to ensure an excellent standard of service and a high level of customer satisfaction. This position is a hybrid of remote and in-office work, however is mostly remote. The office is located in Markham, ON.
Some of the things you will do:
Receive, process and verify the accuracy of orders from customers using the organization’s internal CRM/ERP systems and customer purchase orders.
Respond to customers inquiries regarding quotes and orders
Communicate pricing and delivery information as requested
Access the company’s ERP system to obtain and extract order information (backorder status, tracking numbers, delivery dates, lead times, etc.)
Provide product information, including any product substitutions, technical assistance and broad service support
Enter customer issues, authorize product returns, describe circumstances and rationale for return on Return Authorization records

What you will need to be successful in this position
High school diploma / post secondary diploma, degree or certificate in the sciences would be an asset
Preferably Fluent in English and French – oral and written
Customer service experience
Solid customer service skills; professional telephone etiquette, aptitude for calming upset customers and building long-term positive customer relationships.
Strong Computer skills – Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), internet searches
Detail oriented and organized
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure with minimal supervision
Solid listening skills and logical thinking patterns
Experience working remotely would be an asset
Reliable High Speed Internet connection from a tier one Internet Service Provider such as Bell, Rogers, Telus, Videotron with minimum 100 mbps download, 15mpbs upload speed
Home office with: private room suitable for customer service phone calls, desk with minimum 48” x 30” dimensions, reliable LAN internet connection, WiFi wireless AC or wired with Cat 5E minimum
