TUI Hiring for Finance Analyst | Overheads Job at Luton, East of England, England Full Time

As Finance Analyst – Northern Region Overheads you will support the Finance Business Partner – NR Overheads and the wider Overheads team with the provision and preparation of financial information and provide business partnering to several Head Office departments in the UK & Nordics. You will be required to support on the end-to-end process; prepare month end journals, analyse and evaluate data, prepare forecasts & budgets and report results and insight to key business stakeholders.

You will be required to provide and develop an effective suite of reports, KPIs and business information including cost analysis and headcount reporting, that serves the wider business, FP&A and other finance teams. Another key part of the role is the month-end process, preparing journals to ensure the accurate reporting of the Overheads result across several entities.

The role also includes management responsibilities of one finance analyst that oversees the accounting for UK&I marketing activity spend.

ABOUT THE JOB

Business partnering – you will act as the business partner to your cost centre managers, providing regular updates through production of reports and meetings to facilitate in decision making. Support departments in identifying ways of reducing costs and challenging existing processes where appropriate. Inputs into production of monthly presentations to Department Directors and other senior staff.

P&L – Support in all areas of performance reporting for overheads including month end management, variance analysis and forecasting.

Balance Sheet – Responsible for reconciling and managing areas of the balance sheet promoting compliance with the financial accounting processes, ensuring a robust balance sheet. You must work towards a good understanding of underlying accounting policies, processes and records in order to attain optimal financial performance for the business.

Forecasting cycle – plays a key role in the production of 5 Year Plans, budgets and monthly forecasts for own cost centres and wider overheads divisions for all TUI UK and Nordic entities.

Gap management – Monitoring and challenge of Risk and Opportunities.

Management – the role includes the management and development of one direct report.

Healthcare – owns the end-to-end processes for the TUI Healthcare account. Responsible for the preparation and presentation of the accounts to the Healthcare board on a quarterly basis. ABOUT YOU

Newly qualified accountant/Finalist

Strong organisational skills with ability to meet tight deadlines

Experience of business partnering, including at director level

Ability to present confidently

Role requires strong business English, both spoken and written

HFM and Essbase literate preferable

A self-starter with strong attention to detail
