Shift: Friday to Tuesday Night Shift (11:00 PM – 7:15 AM)
Scope:
A DES Operator will operate the DES line (develop-etch-resist strip), perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs, and perform process and product quality checks. Will be exposed to hazardous waste while performing daily job duties. Operators will undergo Chemical Handling training prior to the start of performing these duties and will actively participate in ongoing hazardous waste and chemical handling training.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate the DES Line, to include start-up, operation, preventative maintenance, and quality
Perform full preventative maintenance and minor repairs at the DES line
Feed and catch cores on the DES line as needed
Demonstrate use of the gage measuring equipment and pass certifying reliability test
Verify product from the DES line per the Internal Line Width Instruction or customer specification
Perform process quality checks at the DES line
Perform basic preventative maintenance on the DES line with assistance
Operate handling equipment
Read and interpret shop order to verify that all previous operations were completed, to verify count, and to verify quality
Able to enter jobs and quality information in the touch system
Maintain a safe, neat and orderly workplace
Complete all internal departmental documentation accurately
Follow all safety measures when handling chemicals and hazardous waste with regard to use, mixing and disposing chemicals

Essential Knowledge & Skills:
Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the extent necessary to perform the job
Ability to stand throughout the shift and lift 30 pounds without straining
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
Please note due to Controlled Goods Program (CGP) requirements, applicants must be a Canadian Citizen or a Permanent Resident in Canada
