TSS Hiring for Customer Service Representative at Cleveland, OH Full Time

We are assisting our downtown Cleveland client with the search for a Customer Service Representative (the official title is Client Account Services Representative). This opportunity is with one of the largest law firms in Cleveland!

The person in this role will focus on collections with clients of the firm. We are seeking someone to perform “SOFT COLLECTIONS”. The firm DOES NOT WANT someone to perform high-pressure collections.

This role is ideal for either an experienced business-to-business collector OR someone with amazing customer service skills and “some” exposure to accounting who is willing to learn collections.

Specific duties include the following:

• Review assigned accounts and initiate activity to recover delinquent funds.
• Keeps accurate and detailed records regarding collection activities (conversation with a client, voice messages left, correspondence sent, etc.).
• Assists billing attorneys in determining when an account should be written off, discounted, or sent to an outside collection agency.
• Provides copies of invoices and initiates updates when incorrect addresses, contact names, and phone numbers are uncovered in the collection process.

Pay is $50,000 to $60,000, depending on background experience.

The position is hybrid, but the first three months will be 100% in the office for training.
