Logistics Supervisor

Manufacturing company in Brampton, Ontario seeking a full time Logistics Supervisor

Responsibilities

Responsible for the daily supervision including training and performance management for Shipping employees

Responsible for the timely scheduling of domestic and international shipments, deliveries, and customer pick ups.

Prioritize shipments and know what orders are due and when.

Responsible for assisting with the day-to-day shipping activities to ensure no delays

Responsible for handling courier shipments

Responsible for assisting with inventory through periodic and special inventory counts, reconciles discrepancies, and ensures accuracy.

Work with Production Supervisor on critical orders

Core competencies

5 years shipping supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment preferably with union experience

Good Leadership skills

Experience in Inventory control

Proficient with computers and software

Strong customer orientation

Must have experience with the following Shipping documents:

USMCA

Commercial Invoices

Bill of Ladings

Foreign trade documents

Certificate of origin

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
