Truro and Penwith College Hiring for Software Developer Job at Truro, England Full Time

We are seeking to appoint a Software Developer to assist with the Development and maintenance of College MIS Systems, web pages and associated applications. Based at the Truro College Campus, the post-holder will work as part of a larger team that provides development services to all College sites.

The ideal applicant will be an experienced developer with skills in php, javascript, web api’s, c# and other modern programming languages and techniques. Knowledge of developing for Microsoft 365, Power BI, reporting services and associated platforms would also be desirable.

Additionally, applicants should have a good working knowledge of relational database principals (SQL) and database maintenance, as well as experience of developing software solutions in line with College needs.

We are looking for someone who is positive, flexible, enthusiastic and reliable who will work well as part of a team, as well as using their own initiative bringing creative ideas and innovative problem-solving skills.
