Truity Partners, LLC Hiring for Senior Accountant Job at Remote Full Time

Our client in Eden Prairie is looking for an Interim Senior Accountant to assist them for the next 3 to 4 months. The role will be responsible for a variety of corporate accounting assignments including analysis and other corporate transactions.

This role is Remote – [Ideally the candidate will be based out of the Midwest]

This is a full-time, contract role.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Track and record daily cash activity, reconcile bank statements and process wire requests.
• Maintain fixed asset sub-ledger, depreciation, and reconciling schedules.
• Manage accounts payable process, which include coding invoices, obtaining approvals, processing payments, recording to general ledger and 1099 processing.
• Track and record various corporate expenses
• Develop budget forecasts by partnering with accounting and department leads.

Required/Preferred Skills:

• Accounting/Finance Degree
• Minimum of 2+ years accounting experience
• Must be knowledgeable with GAAP
• ERP Software experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, high energy, team player
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, completing multiple time-sensitive tasks
